    Cantonal Court in Livno retained 4th place in BiH according to the transparency index

    Transparency International in BiH (TI BiH) in cooperation with the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network in BiH (BIRN BiH), on online platform called "Index of the Judiciary" presented the results of assessment of the transparency index of courts and prosecutor's offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2024.

    The main objective is to improve the transparency and accountability of the judiciary in BiH with a special focus on the transparency and efficiency of disciplinary procedures against judges and prosecutors. The use of digital tools plays a key role when providing all citizens with access to relevant information about the work of the judiciary and its key officials.

    Based on the responses of the judiciary institutions and data published on their websites Transparency International in BiH and BIRN BiH created a list of courts and prosecutor’s offices, ranking them according to the transparency index.

    According to this list, the Cantonal Court in Livno retained high 4th place out of a total of 74 courts in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before this court are only the Cantonal Court in Zenica, Municipal Court in Tuzla and Supreme Court of Republic of Srpska.
